Lindsay Berndt (b. 1998) is a photographer based in Columbus, Ohio. She earned her BFA in Photography at Columbus College of Art & Design. Berndt’s work exists in a quiet space between fine art and editorial imagery, where intentionally composed scenes carry a subtle sense of unease.
Soft light, bright colors, and thoughtful composition create these images that are delicate yet slightly unsettling, inviting viewers to linger in the ambiguity. Her photographs often suggest narratives without fully revealing them, allowing tension, curiosity, and imagination to quietly unfold within the frame.
Through her work, Berndt explores the delicate boundary between the mundane and the uncanny, creating photographs that make everyday spaces and faces dream and fairytale like.
